The workshop is structured to help teams focus on what truly matters. You'll start by surfacing key opportunities and challenges, then move seamlessly into creating Objectives that inspire action. Using the OKR methodology, you'll define the measurable outcomes needed to track and achieve success, ensuring clarity and purpose at every step.

This workshop is adaptable in length, making it ideal for anything from focused sessions to comprehensive explorations, with options ranging from 90 to 240 minutes to meet your team’s needs. Case study

Partnering with Google Cloud and several of their consulting clients, we hosted a number of day-long workshops to set goals and determine OKRs, helping teams align on priorities and establish measurable outcomes. These sessions focused on addressing the unique challenges of cross-functional collaboration, balancing ambitious aspirations with achievable milestones, and creating clear accountability frameworks for all stakeholders.

Through Goals That Stick's guided exercises like Postcards from the Future (or the lengthier Headlines from the Future), participants surfaced their own hopes, setting the stage for drafting meaningful Objectives. Using frameworks such as How Might We (HMW) questions and effort-impact prioritization, teams worked together to define actionable Key Results that tied directly to their strategic priorities.

Starting with lightning talks and adding in a technical debrief, by the end of the workshop, each team walked away with a general assessment of their efforts, a clear roadmap for execution, including ownership assignments and timelines with What, Who, When. For one client, this process resulted in a singular focus on cloud migration goals, with OKRs designed to measure key outcomes like service adoption rates, infrastructure cost savings, and speed-to-deployment metrics.
